When you envision the ritual that will join you and your partner in marriage, do you imagine:
Your wedding ceremony should be a reflection of you. We are dedicated to making sure it does. Thus far, we have planned and performed services in historic mansions, under state park pavilions, at upscale restaurants and B & B's, in backyards and within an elaborate Alice in Wonderland theme, dressed as a caterpillar atop his mushroom, wedding the King and Queen of Hearts. So far, we've not had a request that seemed too outrageous, too bizarre to tackle. After all, this is about you and your life and love style. If you have an idea or scenario we haven't mentioned yet, just ask us. We haven't yet performed a ceremony while rock-climbing or sky-diving, in the midst of a parade or ballgame, or at a location that is significant to the couple, but perhaps not often thought of, like a SEPTA train or bowling alley. We are, however, looking forward to meeting those creative couples who will ask us to, as well as those who want to share their vows the good, old-fashioned way. We are Jennifer Guise Schladen and Jon Schladen, married to each other long enough that it should be routine by now, yet it's not. We are also clergy persons of and adherents to a humanistic spirituality, believing and having faith in the good of humankind and respecting the differences between all of us. Part of that is respecting differences in spirituality and culture, and we love learning about new practices and paths. We celebrate our differences and similarities, and so enjoy helping you celebrate your unique styles, traditions, spiritualities and customs. If you would like us to help you craft one of the milestones of your life, wander around our website a bit for more information on how we can
plan and perform your service. Just don't wander too long
